The „Gheorghe I. Brătianu” European Association of Geopolitical and Strategic Studies is non-governmental, independent and non-profit organization established in 2009 by a group of experts, its main objective being the analysis of political-economic relations and regional and global geopolitical relations designed especially for the academia.
EAGSS has evolved in 2011 towards providing public policy expertise in view of help support the reform, good governance and development endeavors, as well as the decision-making process for Romanian institutions, the enhancement of the European integration process, the configuration of a robust Romanian profile within the European Union, and the shaping of an active post-accession attitude regarding foreign policy, within strategic partnerships and primary bilateral relations, according to national interest, the geopolitical and strategic position, the size and capabilities of the Romanian state.
The main goal of EAGSS is the development of specific recommendations bringing added value to public interest discussions, stimulating internal policies and Romanian external policy endeavors specific to a smart power.
